Tamiz Roble red wine is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes and belongs to the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin. The vineyards are located in the Valladolid town of Peñafiel and it is produced by Bodegas Teófilo Reyes. This wine is aged for 7 months in American oak barrels.
Tamiz Roble by Teófilo Reyes pairs very well with lamb, suckling pig, grilled meats and also with typical Castilian legume stews.

Ribera del Duero Oak Sieve
VARIETIES: Tempranillo 100%.
AGEING: 6 months in French oak Bordeaux barrels.
VINEYARD:
• 60 hectares of our own vineyards in the municipalities of Peñafiel, Manzanillo and Olmos de Peñafiel, within the DO Ribera del Duero.
• Training in Glass and Espalier.
• Soil: Brown, clayey-calcareous, alluvial and limestone.
• Altitude: between 750 and 920 meters above sea level.
• Climate: Mediterranean-Continental.
ELABORATION:
• Harvest: Harvesting is manual.
• Vinification: Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Maceration with the skins, slow pressing without stirring.
TASTING: Cherry red in colour, clean, with violet edges. Intense on the nose, with red forest fruits and vanilla typical of well-integrated wood. On the palate, it is a rounded wine with ripe tannins with an expression of the aromas that are appreciated in the olfactory phase, enhanced with balsamic nuances, silky.
CONSUMPTION TEMPERATURE: 14º-16º C.

Colour: Intense red with the presence of intense violet tones. In a thin layer there are bluish fines.
Scents: The typical fruit aromas of the variety stand out, such as blackberries, blackberries (red fruits), tinged with notes of spices, vanilla, cloves and toasted tones from the oak.
Mouth: It is fleshy, full-bodied, very well structured, long persistence, balanced and a good combination of wine and wood. In the aftertaste, the tones of red, toasted and spicy fruits reappear.
